We’re Laura & Brandon!
A few years ago, we lit the fire under a dream. We wanted a bookshelf full of children’s books that Laura had written and Brandon had illustrated.
And so LB Library was born!
Meet The Author: Laura Jackson
Laura is a writer and performer, with a Masters of Creative Writing (UOW) a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting (NIDA) and a Bachelor of Creative Arts (UOW). Laura has written, toured and produced her own plays, was a recipient of the Ian Potter Cultural Trust for outstanding talent (2022) and is polishing her first novel.

Meet The Illustrator: Brandon Wong
Brandon started as a graphic designer and now has a career in digital product design. LB Library along with sketching is his favourite creative outlet and is otherwise found learning languages, playing the guitar and travelling.

About us
Laura and Brandon have known each other for years- in fact Brandon went to school with Laura’s brother!
Brandon did the graphic design for Laura’s first play, back in 2011 and they started writing children’s books together back in 2014.
Since then they’ve worked together for quite a few years and they’re not sick of each other… yet!
Laura and Brandon share a love of the snow. They’ve got a yearly tradition to hit the slopes together. Maybe that’s why their books often feature polar bears!
For LB Library, Laura writes the words and Brandon creates the imagery. It’s a great collaboration!
